We’re hiring a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer – Thermal Management to join a high-growth, globally recognised leader in data center infrastructure. Based in Tokyo, this position plays a critical role in the design, technical support, and application engineering of thermal management systems for major data center projects across Japan.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical pre-sales support on thermal and HVAC solutions for mission-critical facilities
- Generate design proposals, drawings, technical documentation, and Bills of Quantity (BOQs)
- Advise on product selection and system configuration (CRAC, chilled water, DX systems, etc.)
- Support sales teams, channel partners, consultants, and end users across the full bid lifecycle
- Deliver training sessions and technical workshops to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with regional product teams on new launches and go-to-market strategy
🎓 What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC, thermal systems, or cooling technologies
- Strong understanding of data center cooling systems and infrastructure
- Experience in a pre-sales, applications, or solutions engineering capacity
- Fluent English required; Japanese language skills preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
