Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Improve operational efficiency to better support channel partners.

  • Identify structural, process, and team improvements within the IT channel distribution to build a sustainable business.

  • Manage the interface between the company and distributors, including deal registration and recommending pricing structures and discounts.

  • Identify new resellers for the distribution network and oversee the onboarding process.

  • Directly manage distributor relationships and sell into distributors as needed.

  • Collaborate with distributors to plan and execute demand-generation and marketing initiatives for partners.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in channel, distribution, or sales management in fast-growing IT, electrical, or mechanical industries.

  • 5+ years of experience working with distributors and VARs.

  • Familiarity with channel programs, including rebate mechanisms, incentives, and marketing budgets.

  • Experience identifying and prioritizing new reseller opportunities.

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technology simply.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • Knowledge of the data center or manufacturing industries is desirable.

  • Experience working in cross-functional or matrix organizations, with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 20% travel within the region.
