Section Sales Manager – International Subsea Cable Management

Overview
A leading regional digital infrastructure organization is seeking a Section Sales Manager to expand its international subsea cable and data connectivity business.
This role focuses on driving sales, presales, and commercial development across the company’s growing network of subsea cable systems and data centre interconnects. With new cable systems launching in 2027 and 2028, the successful candidate will play a key role in securing advance customer commitments and partnerships with hyperscalers, carriers, and global enterprises.
You’ll work at the intersection of technical network infrastructure and commercial strategy, turning complex connectivity projects into scalable business opportunities across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business and presales for international subsea cable capacity and data centre interconnect services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hyperscalers, OTTs, and global carriers to pre-sell capacity on upcoming subsea systems.
- Collaborate closely with technical, network planning, and infrastructure delivery teams to align commercial commitments with build timelines and capacity availability.
- Support commercial planning, pricing, and customer solution design for new routes and capacity upgrades.
- Represent the company in customer and partner discussions, ensuring technical and commercial alignment across multi-terabit systems.
- Maintain market intelligence on subsea capacity trends, route diversity, latency performance, and pricing strategies.
- Partner with regional operators to extend connectivity coverage and strengthen routes across the Middle East and beyond.
Experience & Profile
- 8–15 years’ experience in international connectivity, subsea capacity sales, or wholesale telecom business development.
- Proven track record of selling or managing subsea cable capacity, DCI, or global WAN services.
- Strong relationships with hyperscalers, OTTs, carriers, and large enterprises across EMEA or APAC.
- Commercially driven with a solid understanding of the technical aspects of subsea and data centre infrastructure.
- Experience with multi-terabit networks, route planning, and capacity management highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Open to relocation to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (relocation package provided).
