BMS Project Manager โ Data Centres

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced BMS Project Manager to join a leading global building automation and smart infrastructure specialist, delivering large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects across Ireland.
This role will suit a professional with a strong background in Building Management Systems, who is comfortable managing complex projects from design through to commissioning and handover, within fast-paced, technically demanding environments.
The Role

End-to-end management of BMS projects within hyperscale and colocation data centres

Full responsibility for programme delivery, cost control, risk management and quality

Acting as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal engineering teams

Overseeing design coordination, controls strategy, and system integration (HVAC, electrical interfaces, life safety)

Managing commissioning activities and ensuring systems meet performance, redundancy and resilience requirements

Ensuring compliance with health & safety, QA/QC and contractual obligations

Supporting project reporting, forecasting and commercial reviews
Key Requirements

Proven experience as a BMS / Controls Project Manager

Strong background delivering projects within data centres or other mission-critical environments

Hands-on knowledge of BMS platforms (e.g. enterprise controls, open protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks)

Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary site teams

Solid understanding of HVAC plant, control strategies and integrated systems

Commercial awareness, including change management and cost control

Excellent communication skills and client-facing capability
