BAS Controls Technician – DFW (Fort Worth / Dallas Area)
Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 (DOE) + Company Truck
Our client, a well-established Building Automation & Controls Integrator, is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Technician to join their growing team in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area. This is a field-based role supporting a variety of commercial and industrial projects across the metroplex.
The Role:
As a BAS Controls Technician, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining building automation systems across multiple client sites. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and end-users to ensure systems are operating efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission BAS/DDC control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues in the field
- Perform system upgrades, modifications, and preventative maintenance
- Read and interpret control drawings, schematics, and sequences of operation
- Interface with customers on-site to provide technical support and system guidance
- Ensure projects are completed on time and to high quality standards
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in BAS/DDC controls (commercial HVAC controls preferred)
- Strong understanding of control systems, wiring, and HVAC equipment
- Experience with platforms such as Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, or similar is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and control diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
