Associate Electrical Engineer – Perth

An established engineering consultancy is looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer to join its Perth team, working across major and technically complex projects.

This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer looking to take the next step into a senior technical and project leadership position, while remaining hands-on with engineering and design.

The Role

• Lead electrical engineering and design across a range of major projects.

• Take responsibility for electrical design packages from concept through to detailed design and delivery.

• Develop and review electrical calculations, specifications, drawings and technical documentation.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and designers within the team.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors and other stakeholders.

• Manage technical delivery, quality and project outcomes.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Support project proposals, tenders and business development activities.

• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers.

About You

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.

• Strong experience within an engineering consultancy or similar environment.

• Proven experience delivering electrical engineering and design projects.

• Strong technical knowledge across electrical power systems and infrastructure.

• Comfortable taking ownership of projects and leading technical teams.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• CPEng or working towards chartered status would be advantageous.

• Experience across data centres, critical infrastructure, mining, energy or major infrastructure would be highly regarded.
