Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex building automation projects, with a particular focus on mission-critical and data center environments.'
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BAS professional who combines strong project management skills with a solid technical understanding of building automation, controls, and integration. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple project sites and managing projects from design and implementation through commissioning and handover.
Travel: 50–75% for projects across the Central and Western Region of the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage BAS projects from initial planning through installation, commissioning, and final handover.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, subcontractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and project stakeholders.
- Review project scope, specifications, drawings, sequences of operation, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate BAS controls installation, programming, graphics, integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Support the delivery of data center and mission-critical facility projects.
- Identify project risks, issues, and potential delays and develop effective mitigation plans.
- Monitor project budgets, change orders, costs, and commercial performance.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear progress updates to customers and internal leadership.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, commissioning, and other trades to ensure successful system integration.
- Ensure project documentation, testing records, commissioning documentation, and closeout packages are completed to a high standard.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and company requirements.
- Travel regularly to project sites, typically 50–75%, depending on project requirements.
