Industrial Sales Manager – North America

Location: Remote, USA | Approximately 50% Travel

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Manager to build and lead a growing industrial sales function across North America.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially driven sales leader who enjoys building new markets, developing strategic customer relationships and creating high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the North American industrial sales strategy.
  • Identify target markets, customers and territories to maximise growth.
  • Establish measurable revenue, pipeline and activity targets.
  • Build a repeatable sales process and scalable commercial model.
  • Monitor market trends, competitors and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and marketing to develop targeted campaigns and market strategies.

Key Account Management

  • Personally manage a portfolio of strategic industrial accounts.
  • Build relationships with C-suite executives, plant managers, engineering leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead complex sales opportunities from initial prospecting through proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Identify opportunities for customer retention, expansion, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Develop long-term customer partnerships and act as the senior commercial point of contact.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years' experience in B2B technical, industrial or electrical sales.
  • At least 3 years' experience in sales leadership, management or team leadership.
  • Proven success selling technically complex products or solutions into industrial customers.
  • Experience developing new markets, territories or business segments.
  • Strong understanding of one or more of the following:
    • Electrical power monitoring
    • Power quality
    • Electrical metering
    • Low-voltage power distribution
    • Energy management
    • Industrial automation
    • PLC / HMI / SCADA
    • OT / industrial networking
  • Established relationships across industrial or manufacturing markets.
  • Strong commercial and strategic sales capability combined with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at both technical and executive level.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline, forecasting and sales performance.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the US, with occasional international travel.
  • Based within approximately one hour of a major international airport.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent industry experience will be considered.
