Job Description

A Site Coordinator is required as a freelancer until the end of 2026 / maximum duration: 1 year.

Key Conditions

• Location: Frankfurt 

• Start: From 01 March, full-time (40 hours/week)

• Project duration: 1 Year minimum contract

• On-site / remote: 100% on-site preferred, maximum 1 day per week remote

Profile Requirements

• Several years of experience working with general contractors (GCs) and subcontractors is required

• Technical background in Mechanical engineering or Architecture, with data center experience

• Approximately 10–15 years of professional experience in a comparable role

• German (basic) and English (fluent) required

Role Requirements – Site Coordinator (Data Center / Brownfield Modernisation)

• Coordination of 7 parallel projects at a single data center site:

  • 6 mechanical projects (HVAC / cooling, including replacement of hybrid coolers)

  • 1 electrical project

• Operational management of all conversion and modernisation works in an existing data center
  (live data center environment) as well as modernisation of office areas

• Coordination of all trades, subcontractors, and internal teams

• Ensuring disruption-free execution in compliance with data center standards

• Coordination of schedules, interfaces, and project dependencies

• Monitoring quality, workmanship, and documentation

• Support during testing, commissioning, and acceptance

• Ensuring compliance with HSE, safety, and access regulations

• Acting as the central communication interface, including site meetings and reporting

Candidate Profile

• Technical background in Mechanical / MEP / HVAC or Architecture / Civil Engineering

• Experience in multi-project coordination, ideally within a data center or brownfield environment

• Strong organisational, coordination, and communication skills

• Structured, resilient, and solution-oriented working approach
