BAS Controls Technician – Mobile, AL
$75,000 – $85,000 + Bonus | Full Benefits | Company Truck
Our client, a well-established building automation contractor, is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Technician to join their growing team in Mobile, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who enjoys working with advanced building systems and delivering high-quality solutions to commercial and industrial clients.
What You’ll Do
- Install, program, and service Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues
- Perform system startups, commissioning, and upgrades
- Work with HVAC controls, sensors, actuators, and networks
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical support and occasional training to end users
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with BAS/DDC systems in a field technician role
- Familiarity with Honeywell, Schneider Electric, or other major control platforms (experience with other systems is welcome)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and control strategies
- Niagara N4 certification (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and sequences of operation
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
