BMS Engineer – London

We’re looking for a talented BMS Engineer to join a well-established building automation specialist working on some of the most advanced smart building projects across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering innovative control solutions across commercial, residential, and critical infrastructure environments.
The Role
As a BMS Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the commissioning, servicing, and optimisation of Building Management Systems, ensuring efficient and reliable performance across a range of client sites. You’ll work closely with project and service teams, delivering high-quality technical support while ensuring systems meet design and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Commission, test, and hand over BMS and HVAC control systems

Carry out system fault-finding, diagnostics, and remedial works

Modify and develop control software and graphics (Trend, Tridium, or Siemens platforms)

Perform routine service visits and ensure systems are optimised for performance and efficiency

Provide technical support and advice to clients and project teams

Ensure all works comply with relevant health, safety, and quality standards

Maintain accurate documentation and commissioning records
Requirements

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in BMS engineering, commissioning, or controls integration

Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies

Experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, or Siemens Desigo

Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
