We’re looking for a talented BMS Engineer to join a well-established building automation specialist working on some of the most advanced smart building projects across London and the South East. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering innovative control solutions across commercial, residential, and critical infrastructure environments.

The Role

As a BMS Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the commissioning, servicing, and optimisation of Building Management Systems, ensuring efficient and reliable performance across a range of client sites. You’ll work closely with project and service teams, delivering high-quality technical support while ensuring systems meet design and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commission, test, and hand over BMS and HVAC control systems

  • Carry out system fault-finding, diagnostics, and remedial works

  • Modify and develop control software and graphics (Trend, Tridium, or Siemens platforms)

  • Perform routine service visits and ensure systems are optimised for performance and efficiency

  • Provide technical support and advice to clients and project teams

  • Ensure all works comply with relevant health, safety, and quality standards

  • Maintain accurate documentation and commissioning records

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in BMS engineering, commissioning, or controls integration

  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies

  • Experience with BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, or Siemens Desigo

  • Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
