BAS Controls Technician – Washington, DC

Salary: ~$115,000 + Benefits

I’m currently working with a leading Building Automation and Controls business that is expanding its team across the Washington DC / Maryland / Northern Virginia market.

They are looking for an experienced BAS Controls Technician to join their growing team, working on a variety of commercial, healthcare, institutional, and mission-critical projects across the region.

The Role

• Install, program, commission, troubleshoot and service Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Work with Tridium Niagara N4 and other leading controls platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC controls and building automation issues.
• Carry out system start-ups, commissioning and functional testing.
• Work closely with project engineers, project managers and customers to deliver high-quality controls solutions.
• Provide technical support and ongoing maintenance to customers across the DC/MD/VA region.

About You

• 3+ years of experience within BAS / Building Automation / HVAC Controls.
• Strong hands-on experience with controls installation, programming, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Niagara N4 certification strongly preferred.
• Experience with HVAC systems, DDC controls and building automation networks.
• Able to read controls drawings, schematics and sequences of operation.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally across the DC/MD/VA region.
