We're partnering with one of Australia's leading data center providers to appoint an Electrical Lead to drive the delivery of electrical infrastructure across a rapidly expanding hyperscale portfolio.

This is an opportunity to lead some of the country's most significant mission-critical projects while building and developing a high-performing team of electrical professionals. You'll play a key role in shaping engineering standards, supporting major customer engagements, and ensuring the successful delivery of world-class facilities.

The Role

As the Electrical Lead, you'll provide technical and people leadership across multiple hyperscale data center projects, overseeing electrical engineering from concept through commissioning and handover.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, consultants and contractors, you'll ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards while supporting the continued growth of the electrical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the electrical engineering function across hyperscale data center developments.

  • Manage, mentor and grow a team of Electrical Engineers.

  • Oversee the design, delivery and commissioning of critical electrical infrastructure.

  • Act as the primary technical authority for electrical engineering decisions.

  • Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Review and approve electrical designs, specifications and technical documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, industry regulations and company engineering standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes and project delivery.

  • Support project planning, budgeting, risk management and resource allocation.

  • Provide technical guidance during commissioning, testing and operational readiness.

About You

You'll be an experienced electrical engineering leader with a strong background delivering large-scale mission-critical or complex infrastructure projects.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering.

  • Extensive experience leading electrical engineering teams.

  • Strong knowledge of HV and LV electrical systems within mission-critical environments.

  • Experience delivering large-scale data center, utilities, industrial or other critical infrastructure projects.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people.
