Hiring: Senior Semiconductor Packaging Engineer | California

We are working with an innovative defense-technology company that is expanding its engineering team and looking for an experienced Semiconductor Packaging Engineer to help develop next-generation semiconductor devices from R&D through product qualification.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on package design, thermal/mechanical analysis, reliability and working closely with manufacturing to bring advanced products into production.

We're interested in engineers with experience in areas such as:

• Semiconductor packaging
• Thermal & mechanical design / FEA
• Advanced materials and package reliability
• New product introduction (NPI)
• Cross-functional development with process, manufacturing and test teams

Experience in photonics or laser devices is a plus, but not essential. Strong packaging engineers from adjacent semiconductor markets are encouraged to apply.

📍 California (multiple locations considered)
💰 $180k–$200k base + equity + benefits
