Global Strategic Account Director – Financial Services (Singapore)
Overview
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly accomplished strategic sales executive to lead and expand one of the world's most significant global financial services relationships. Based in Singapore, this executive role will own a flagship enterprise account, driving long-term growth, executive engagement, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives across multiple international markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing C-suite relationships, identifying strategic growth opportunities, and leading complex, multi-country engagements across network services, cloud, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, managed services, and hybrid cloud solutions.
This position is ideally suited to an experienced enterprise sales leader with an established track record of managing global banking clients within leading telecommunications, technology, cloud, systems integration, or digital infrastructure organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a major global strategic account within the financial services sector.
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders across technology, infrastructure, operations, procurement, and business leadership.
- Identify, shape, and close large-scale transformation programmes across:
- Network transformation
- Cloud connectivity
- Cybersecurity
- Managed services
- Digital infrastructure
- Colocation and hybrid cloud solutions
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and multi-country sales engagements.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans, growth initiatives, and executive engagement programmes.
- Partner closely with solution, product, delivery, commercial, and alliance teams to maximise customer value.
- Drive long-term account development focused on strategic partnerships rather than transactional sales.
- Maintain strong governance across forecasting, opportunity management, pipeline progression, and customer success.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 12–20 years of enterprise technology sales experience, with significant exposure to the banking and financial services sector.
- Demonstrated experience managing a major global or regional banking relationship over several years.
- Proven success managing complex, multi-million-dollar strategic accounts.
- Strong experience operating across APAC and global markets.
- Background within one or more of the following:
- Telecommunications
- Managed Services
- Cloud Services
- Systems Integration
- Networking
- Cybersecurity
- Digital Infrastructure
Preferred Background
Candidates are most likely to have built their careers within:
