Construction Manager – Data Center project

Columbus, Ohio

We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to support a major hyperscale data center project based in Columbus, Ohio.

This position will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, managing project schedules, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily site operations across multiple construction work packages
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project schedules and drive progress against key milestones
• Review construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and mitigate construction risks, delays, and site issues
• Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates to project leadership teams
• Work closely with QA/QC, commissioning, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Oversee punch list management, turnover activities, and project closeout processes
• Support cost control, change management, and contractor performance management

Requirements:

• Previous Construction Manager experience within data center or mission critical environments
• Strong understanding of large-scale construction projects and site operations
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and disciplines simultaneously
• Knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and project turnover activities
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work within fast-paced project environments and drive programme milestones
