Data Center Commissioning Project Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Duration: 6-12 Months + Extension

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Project Manager to support the delivery of hyperscale and mission-critical data center projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commissioning process from design review through to Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and project handover, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and in line with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Level 1-5 commissioning activities across multiple project phases.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Lead Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and project handover activities.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and commissioning deliverables.

Requirements:

• Previous data center commissioning experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Experience managing commissioning teams and client relationships.
• Ability to work within fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
