CBQE Tennant Rep - Monthly Salaried Contract – Data Center
We are seeking an experienced Controls Build Quality Engineer (CBQE) Tennant Rep to support the delivery of high-quality controls systems across major data center construction projects. This is a site-based contract role focused on ensuring the successful implementation of BMS, EPMS, PLC, and SCADA systems from design through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site quality oversight of controls systems installation and commissioning
- Lead and manage system integrators and controls contractors across all project phases
- Conduct inspections, audits, and commissioning support to ensure compliance with specifications
- Drive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress
- Ensure consistency and standardisation across multiple sites and systems
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience in controls engineering, commissioning, or MEP project delivery in data centres or mission-critical environments
- Strong expertise in BMS, PLC, SCADA, and electrical power monitoring systems
- Experience with HVAC controls design/programming
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
Desirable:
- Experience with platforms such as Autodesk, Procore, or CxAlloy
- Knowledge of Rockwell and Ignition systems
- Professional certifications (e.g. PMP, CAP)
