  • Ensure all designs comply with UL508A, UL891, and NEC Article 409 standards
  • Produce detailed technical documentation including wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and I/O lists
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from design through to installation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance throughout all project phases

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in automation, controls design, or electrical systems integration within industrial, manufacturing, or power environments
  • Technical qualification in automation, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong understanding of UL508A, UL891, NEC Article 409, and industrial control panel standards
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks Electrical (AutoCAD Electrical advantageous)
  • Experience with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, and Ethernet/IP
  • Proven experience in system testing, commissioning, and field integration
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Professional Skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently

Desirable

  • UL508A Panel Design Certification or experience within a UL-listed manufacturing environment
  • Experience in data centres, AI infrastructure, or large-scale industrial automation projects
