Mechanical Commissioning (Cx) Engineer – Data Center Project (Madrid)

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning (Cx) Engineer to join a high-profile data center project in Madrid. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong HVAC and chiller commissioning experience, looking to work on mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support mechanical commissioning activities across HVAC systems, with a focus on chilled water plants and chillers
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, scripts, and test procedures
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure systems are installed and tested to specification
• Perform functional performance testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Ensure all documentation, reports, and handover materials are completed to a high standard

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical commissioning on data center or mission-critical projects
• Strong hands-on experience with chillers and chilled water systems
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, BMS, and control strategies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
