Job Description
Overview
We are seeking experienced Electrical and Mechanical Commissioning Engineers to support the delivery of complex, large-scale data centre and critical infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are installed, tested, and commissioned to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Commissioning Engineer:
- Lead and support the commissioning of LV/MV electrical systems
- Carry out inspections, testing, and validation of electrical installations
- Review and execute commissioning plans, method statements, and risk assessments
- Manage system energisation and witness testing activities
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives
Mechanical Commissioning Engineer:
- Commission HVAC, chilled water, and mechanical plant systems
- Oversee testing and balancing of air and water systems
- Support functional performance testing and integrated systems testing (IST)
- Review installation quality and ensure system readiness for handover
- Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning phases
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in commissioning within data centres, critical infrastructure, or large-scale commercial/industrial projects
- Strong understanding of relevant electrical or mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and commissioning documentation
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Relevant engineering qualifications or trade background
