QA/QC Manager – Data Centre Projects (Contract)
Overview
Edison Smart are supporting a major data centre developer on a multi-year hyperscale build programme and are looking for experienced QA professionals to support delivery across mission-critical projects.
The Role
You will lead QA activities across MEP and CSA scopes, ensuring all installations are delivered in line with design, commissioning requirements, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project QA Plans aligned with commissioning specs
- Coordinate with Cx teams, GCs, and subcontractors
- Perform field inspections across MEP/CSA installations
- Manage QA documentation via platforms such as Procore / CX Alloy
- Track, log, and close out QA issues and deficiencies
- Lead QA/Cx meetings and provide weekly reporting
QA Scope
- Receipt inspections of equipment and materials
- Level 2 (Yellow Tag): set-in-place, pre-energisation, torque checks
- Level 3 (Blue Tag): pre-functional testing support
- Review contractor QA/QC plans, startup procedures, and SOO
Deliverables
- QA Plan & Commissioning Schedule
- QA/Cx Issues Log
- Inspection reports and final QA report
Experience Required
- QA/QC experience on data centre or mission-critical projects
- MEP and/or CSA background
- Familiar with commissioning (L2/L3) processes
- Experience with Procore, CX Alloy or similar
