Senior Frontend Engineer

Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of a European technology client

Edison Smart is supporting a fast-scaling platform business building cloud-based software.

They are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of modern, scalable web applications powering a real-time platform.

The Role

  • Build and evolve frontend applications using React / Next.js / TypeScript (modern JS)

  • Develop reusable UI components and shared libraries

  • Implement secure API integrations and BFF patterns

  • Deliver responsive, production-ready UI from design to deployment

  • Contribute to CI/CD, Dockerised deployments and testing workflows

  • Support real-time data features and event-driven interfaces

  • Drive performance, accessibility and frontend architecture standards

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong React / Next.js / TypeScript capability

  • Experience with component libraries / design systems (Storybook or similar)

  • Secure auth flows (OAuth / OIDC) and API integration experience

  • Exposure to cloud environments (Azure preferred)

  • CI/CD, Docker and modern frontend testing familiarity

  • Experience working on data-heavy, real-time or distributed platforms
