Are you a skilled Building Automation Systems (BAS) Controls Technician looking to take your career to the next level? Our client, a leading systems integrator in the Tampa Bay area, is expanding their team and seeking an experienced professional to support exciting new projects across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities.

Position Overview

As a BAS Controls Technician, you will be responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, and servicing building automation and energy management systems. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and customers to deliver high-quality, reliable control solutions that keep facilities running at peak performance.

What You’ll Do

• Install, commission, and service BAS/EMS systems

• Program controllers, graphics, and interfaces

• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions

• Conduct site visits and coordinate with customers and contractors

• Provide expertise in HVAC controls, networking, and system integration

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of BAS or HVAC controls experience

• Familiarity with major platforms (e.g., Niagara, Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Distech, Honeywell, etc.)

• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, low-voltage systems, and control sequences

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical plans

• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

• Valid driver’s license

• $85,000–$105,000 base salary (depending on experience)
