Overview 

Edison Smart is partnered with a rapidly emerging player in the telecommunications and IoT connectivity sector is seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate its global expansion and customer acquisition strategy.

This role focuses on driving sales growth, strategic partnerships, and commercial development across a growing portfolio of global IoT connectivity, eSIM, and secure networking solutions. With ongoing expansion into new international markets, the successful candidate will play a key role in securing enterprise clients and partnerships with device manufacturers, IoT platforms, and global solution providers.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Drive business growth in the emerging technology and IoT connectivity space by identifying and securing new enterprise clients across sectors such as logistics, EV charging, smart infrastructure, and industrial automation across region. 
  • Develop strategic partnerships with hardware manufacturers, system integrators, and platform providers to expand market reach and solution adoption.
  • Lead the full business development lifecycle, from market research and lead generation through solution design, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Contribute to strategic growth planning by analysing market trends, identifying emerging opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally with product and marketing teams

 

Experience & Profile:

  • Proven experience in sales and building lasting customer relationships, ideally within telecommunications, IoT, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving strong sales results, specifically eSIM. 
  • Knowledge in 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G as well as LPWA technologies such as LTE-M and NB-IoT
  • Expertise in handling complex negotiations and securing profitable deals.
  • Capability to work in a structured, analytical, and goal-driven manner in a dynamic environment
