Commissioning Director – Data Centers (Las Cruces, NM) $200K–$240K + 20% bonus | 20% travel | Full benefits

Edison Smart are currently working with an industry leader in building and operating world-class data centers that power the world’s most innovative companies. We’re looking for a Commissioning Director to lead end-to-end validation of a major data center project in the El Paso / Las Cruces region, ensuring safety, quality, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Lead commissioning and readiness of a new data center from construction through client delivery
• Lead the commissioning on a 1.2GW Data center campus
• Drive safety, quality, and process improvements across all commissioning activities
• Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to deliver on-time, high-quality projects
• Oversee acceptance testing, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and final turnover
• Integrate lessons learned and standardize commissioning best practices for future projects

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in critical facility construction, commissioning, and operations
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong leadership and communication skills; PMP or Cx certification preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
