About the Role
Edison Smart are partnered with a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions for industrial and critical infrastructure environments is expanding its technical sales team in the North Central United States. The company delivers advanced technology that protects operational technology and connected devices across energy, manufacturing, transportation, and other large enterprise sectors.
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with a Regional Sales Director and serve as the primary technical expert throughout the customer journey. This role includes presales support, solution design, product demonstrations, partner enablement, and post sales technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and partners throughout pre-sales, POCs, deployment discussions, and post-sales follow-up.

Qualify opportunities from a technical standpoint and design tailored solution architectures.

Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and partner training.

Collect customer requirements and feedback, communicating insights to internal teams.

Assist with issue resolution and feature requests in collaboration with engineering and R&D.

Enable channel partners to position, sell, and support the cybersecurity platform effectively.
Required Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing engineering role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Security Consultant, Systems Integrator, etc.).

Strong understanding of networking, protocols, and infrastructure technologies (CCNA or equivalent preferred).

Background in cybersecurity (incident response, pentesting, SOC, or network security).

Excellent communication, presentation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently, manage regional travel, and support full sales cycles.

Experience with ICS/OT environments (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, industrial protocols) strongly preferred.

Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, etc.) are a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
