Job Description

An Abu Dhabi-based technology team is looking for an AI Engineer to build practical AI and analytics tools for complex, data-heavy workflows.

You’ll work with technical and business teams to turn ideas into useful solutions, from early prototypes through to production.

The role

• Build and deploy analytics, machine learning and AI solutions for investment workflows.

• Develop data pipelines, models and tools using Python, SQL and modern data platforms.

• Create practical applications, dashboards and APIs for investment teams.

• Explore LLMs, embeddings, RAG and agentic AI, connecting new capabilities to real use cases.

• Work with complex, imperfect datasets and turn business needs into reliable tools.

• Help shape technical approaches, test ideas and improve solutions as they scale.
  
  

What we’re looking for

• At least 3 years’ experience in AI/ML, data science, quantitative research or a related engineering role.

• Strong Python skills and experience building end-to-end analytical or machine learning solutions.

• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, embeddings or agentic AI.

• Experience with SQL and data platforms such as Spark or Databricks.

• Exposure to investment, trading or financial markets is valuable.

• A practical, curious mindset and the confidence to work through ambiguous problems with a small team.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
