Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and evolve the Company’s TypeScript products end to end, from NestJS back-end services to React front-end applications.

This is a hands-on engineering role with ownership of core services and customer-facing features across wallet, liquidity, payments and digital asset infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver secure, reliable and high-quality experiences.

The ideal candidate combines strong TypeScript expertise with practical experience building distributed systems, event-driven services, automated test coverage and production-ready applications in fast-moving technology environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

Full-Stack Product Engineering

• Design, build and maintain full-stack features across NestJS back-end services and React front-end applications.

• Own features from technical design and API definition through implementation, testing, deployment and production

support.

• Build responsive, accessible and performant React interfaces that deliver clear and reliable customer experiences.

• Develop maintainable, reusable components and services aligned with agreed architecture and coding standards.

Wallet, Liquidity & Platform Services

• Develop and evolve wallet and liquidity provider services, taking ownership from API design through production operation. • Build reliable integrations across payment, wallet, liquidity and digital asset services.

• Implement resilient event-driven workflows that remain reliable under load and recover appropriately from failures.

• Ensure financial workflows provide clear status, error handling, idempotency and auditability.

 

API Design & Distributed Systems

• Design and consume well-structured REST and service APIs across a distributed platform.

• Collaborate with engineers responsible for other services to maintain clean contracts and consistent integration patterns.

• Support data integrity, observability and reliable communication between services.

• Contribute to architectural decisions relating to scalability, performance and system resilience.

 

Quality, Security & Delivery

• Establish and expand unit, integration and end-to-end automated test coverage.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

• Apply secure engineering principles appropriate for regulated financial products and sensitive customer data.

• Support controlled releases, production monitoring, incident investigation and remediation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to convert requirements into well-crafted technical solutions. 

Communicate technical trade-offs, dependencies and risks clearly to engineering and product stakeholders

• Provide constructive code-review feedback and mentor less experienced engineers.

• Promote accountability, quality and continuous improvement across the engineering team.

Required Experience & Profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional full-stack development experience.

• High proficiency in TypeScript across back-end and front-end development.

• Strong experience building Node.js services using NestJS, Express or a comparable framework.

• Strong experience building modern front-end applications using React.

• Experience designing and consuming APIs and integrating services across distributed systems.

• Strong commitment to automated testing and maintainable, production-quality code.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL, Redis and cloud environments.

• Ability to take initiative, own delivery and collaborate across Engineering, Product and Design.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience within fintech, payments, banking, wallets, crypto or digital assets.

• Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging and high-volume transaction systems.

• Knowledge of secure application design, financial-system controls and regulated environments.

• Experience with Azure, CI/CD automation and production observability.

• Experience mentoring engineers or contributing to architecture and engineering standards.

Technical Environment
