SENIOR CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

Central & North Alabama

Relocation provided for US Citizen

Hourly rate up to $50 an hour

Also opportunity for Junior candidates from $25 an hour

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong BAS professional to take ownership of field projects, lead installations and commissioning activities, and mentor junior technicians across a range of commercial, institutional and industrial projects.

The Role

  • Program, configure and commission Niagara N4 building automation systems.
  • Lead onsite installation, startup, troubleshooting and service activities.
  • Work with DDC controllers, HVAC equipment, graphics and control logic.
  • Coordinate project delivery and liaise with contractors and building owners.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
  • Support Honeywell and KMC Controls integrations where required.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of building automation systems experience.
  • Niagara N4 Certification or experience using Niagara
  • Strong BAS programming, graphics and troubleshooting skills.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems and sequences of operation.
  • Previous experience leading field activities and mentoring technicians.
  • Willingness to travel across Central & North Alabama, including occasional overnight stays.
