Edison Smart is partnered with a fast-growing, venture-backed AI Fintech business in the UAE 

Following continued growth and institutional investment, the business is expanding its engineering team and is looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong frontend and product focus.

This is a hands-on position with significant ownership. You will work closely with technical leadership and customers to build and improve a live platform rather than simply working through predefined engineering tickets.

The Role

You will take ownership of customer-facing features across a platform combining financial data, credit risk, machine learning and AI.

The position is particularly frontend focused. You will work directly with customers to understand how they use the platform, gather feedback and translate this into improvements across the UI/UX and wider product.

You will also work across the backend, APIs, database and cloud environment, giving you genuine end-to-end ownership of what you build.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own customer-facing features across an AI-powered fintech platform.

  • Develop modern, responsive and intuitive frontend applications.

  • Work directly with customers to understand workflows, pain points and requirements.

  • Translate customer feedback into improvements across UI/UX and product functionality.

  • Build backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.

  • Work with PostgreSQL and the wider application data layer.

  • Integrate AI-driven functionality into customer-facing products.

  • Own features from initial concept through development, deployment and iteration.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

  • Work within a Microsoft Azure environment.

  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor to improve engineering productivity.

  • Contribute to technical standards and architecture as the engineering team scales.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Full Stack or Product Engineer who is particularly strong on the frontend.

You should have experience building polished, customer-facing products and be comfortable working directly with users rather than having all requirements filtered through a Product Manager.

We're particularly interested in engineers who take genuine ownership of products, move quickly and are already using modern AI development tools to improve the way they build and ship software.
