BMS Project Manager – Sydney
$155,000 + Super + Vehicle

Our client, a well-established name in the building automation and controls industry, is seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to lead the delivery of building management system projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial sites in Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take ownership of projects end-to-end, working with a strong technical team and a solid pipeline of work.

The Role

• Manage the full project lifecycle for BMS installations, upgrades, and retrofits — from design and engineering through to commissioning and handover
• Coordinate technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to manage expectations and build long-term relationships
• Oversee project documentation, including schematics, operational descriptions, and as-built records
• Identify opportunities for additional works, upgrades, and service contracts
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians on project teams

About You

• Proven experience managing BMS/BAS projects from concept through to completion
• Strong technical knowledge of building automation platforms (Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Tridium Niagara, Distech, or similar)
• Background in HVAC controls, electrical systems, or building services engineering
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Relevant trade or engineering qualifications
• Full driver's licence
