Vice President – Enterprise Architecture
Shape the technology architecture of a diversified Group
We are supporting a major UAE-based organisation undergoing significant evolution across its technology landscape.
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architecture leader who can operate at Group level, translating business strategy into practical technology architectures and long-term roadmaps across multiple businesses and subsidiaries.
This is a high-impact role where Enterprise Architecture is being positioned as an enabler of transformation and delivery, rather than simply a governance or review function.
The opportunity
You will lead Enterprise Architecture across the Group, shaping standards, reference architectures and technology blueprints across applications, platforms, integrations, data and digital products.
You'll work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to ensure architecture is considered early in strategic and portfolio decisions, while maintaining the flexibility and pace required by modern digital delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Define and enforce Group-wide enterprise and solution architecture standards
- Translate business strategy into target architectures and multi-year roadmaps
- Develop and mature business architecture and process intelligence
- Provide architecture input into technology portfolios and major initiatives
- Chair architecture governance forums and resolve cross-functional trade-offs
- Drive greater standardisation and reduce duplication and technical debt
- Provide architectural oversight of vendors and third-party solutions
- Partner with Digital, Technology, Security and Platforms leadership
- Build Enterprise Architecture capability across the organisation
What we're looking for
- 12+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture leadership
- Experience within a large, diversified and matrixed organisation
- Strong experience across applications, platforms, integration, data and digital
- Experience establishing or maturing an Enterprise Architecture function
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems and modern agile delivery
- Executive-level communication skills combined with genuine technical credibility
- Pragmatic approach to balancing architecture, speed, cost and business value
- TOGAF or equivalent experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
Experience from a listed, multinational or major regional organisation is particularly attractive.
