BAS Technician – Houston, TX
Salary: Around $100,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Technician looking to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial facilities across the Houston area?
A well-established mechanical contractor with a long-standing reputation in Texas is expanding its Building Automation team and is looking for a skilled BAS Technician to support service, maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of building controls systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair Building Automation and HVAC control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, system testing and troubleshooting.
- Commission new BAS installations and complete system upgrades.
- Program, modify and optimize control sequences.
- Work closely with customers to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Complete service reports and provide technical recommendations.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with Building Automation or Building Management Systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and mechanical systems.
- Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Distech or similar.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the Houston area.
