BMS Engineer – Data Centre Projects

Are you an experienced BMS Engineer with strong Siemens Desigo CC expertise looking to work on some of Australia's most advanced data centre projects?

We're partnering with one of Sydney's leading independent Building Management Systems specialists, renowned for delivering complex automation solutions across mission-critical facilities. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of hyperscale data centre projects, they're looking to add an experienced BMS Engineer to their team.

The Role

As a BMS Engineer, you'll play a key role in the engineering, commissioning and delivery of Building Management Systems across major data centre developments. Working alongside experienced project teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring systems are engineered, integrated and commissioned to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and configure Building Management Systems using Siemens Desigo CC.
• Commission and optimise BMS solutions across mission-critical facilities.
• Develop graphics, point databases and control strategies.
• Carry out system testing, fault finding and system optimisation.
• Integrate HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems into the BMS platform.
• Support site commissioning, functional testing and integrated systems testing.
• Produce engineering documentation and commissioning reports.
• Work closely with project managers, commissioning teams and end clients throughout project delivery.

About You

• Proven experience as a BMS Engineer within commercial buildings or critical infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Desigo CC is essential.
• Experience engineering and commissioning BMS solutions.
• Good understanding of HVAC controls, plant sequencing and mechanical services.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and IP networking.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience working on data centre or other mission-critical projects is highly desirable.
