Senior Quality/Process Manager – Photonics

Location: Alhambra, CA (Onsite)

Compensation: Competitive Base + Bonus + Equity

Edison Smart are working with a Seminconductor company developing InP-based lasers and optical components for AI infrastructure, datacenter interconnects, and next-generation optical communication systems.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality/Process Manager to lead quality operations across an InP wafer fabrication facility, drive yield improvement initiatives, and oversee quality systems supporting advanced photonic device manufacturing.

• 7+ years in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, or Product Engineering within III-V semiconductor or photonics manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of InP-based photonic devices, III-V semiconductor physics, and wafer fabrication processes
• Experience with InP epitaxial growth (MOCVD/MBE), defect management, and material quality assessment
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems
• Knowledge of high-speed optical transceivers, datacenter optics, or coherent optical communications preferred
