$135,000 + Super + Company Vehicle

Are you an experienced BMS Engineer looking to join a growing building automation specialist with a strong pipeline of projects across commercial buildings, healthcare, data centres and critical infrastructure?

We are currently seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a highly regarded building automation contractor in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of commissioning activities across a range of technically challenging projects while working alongside an experienced engineering team.

The Role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the commissioning, testing and optimisation of Building Management Systems across new and existing projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • BMS commissioning and functional testing
  • Point-to-point testing and system validation
  • HVAC controls commissioning and optimisation
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting of BMS systems
  • Working closely with project engineers, subcontractors and clients
  • Site-based commissioning activities and project delivery
  • Assisting with system handovers and client training
  • Supporting project teams to ensure successful project completion

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience commissioning Building Management Systems
  • Strong understanding of HVAC controls and mechanical services
  • Experience with Delta Controls or other major BMS platforms
  • Ability to interpret control drawings and sequences of operation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Electrical or controls background preferred
