Job Description
Senior Building Automation Project Manager
East Coast, USA (Remote – 80% Remote / 20% Travel)
Preferred Locations: East Coast, US
$150,000 - $170,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits
Our client is a highly respected building performance, smart buildings, and systems integration consultancy that is helping some of the nation's largest real estate portfolios unlock the full potential of their building automation systems.
Due to continued growth across the Mid-Atlantic region, they are seeking an experienced Senior Building Automation Project Manager to join their Master Systems Integration (MSI) team. This is a unique opportunity for a technically strong BAS professional who enjoys working at both a strategic and operational level—leading complex integration projects, managing client relationships, mentoring teams, and helping drive the future of smart building technology.
Unlike traditional BAS project roles that focus on a single construction project for extended periods, this position offers exposure to enterprise-level building automation initiatives, portfolio-wide optimization programs, and cutting-edge smart building architectures.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Building Automation Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of projects and clients across the East Coast, helping organizations modernize, centralize, and optimize their building automation infrastructure.
You will work closely with owners, facility teams, controls contractors, IT departments, and executive stakeholders to design and implement scalable, secure, and future-proof building automation solutions.
This role combines technical leadership, project management, client development, and strategic consulting, making it ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career while maintaining strong involvement in technology and project delivery.

Master Systems Integration (MSI)
- Lead enterprise-level MSI strategy and implementation projects
- Oversee the design and deployment of centralized building automation architectures
- Manage Niagara migration initiatives and large-scale BAS integration projects

Niagara & Smart Buildings
- Guide the implementation and optimization of Niagara-based supervisory systems
- Support centralized graphics, analytics integration, portfolio-wide visibility, and operational optimization initiatives
- Establish scalable standards and best practices for enterprise BAS deployments
- Drive innovation in smart building technology and systems integration approaches
Business Development & Market Growth
- Support business development initiatives and client outreach efforts
- Assist with proposals, pricing strategies, scope development, and project pursuits
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and professional associations
- Help expand the company's presence throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
Business development activities are expected to represent approximately 10% of the role.
