Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Energy Marshal to support a leading Commissioning Agent on major hyperscale data center projects in Des Moines, Iowa and Boydton, Virginia. This is a high-profile opportunity to work on cutting-edge infrastructure within a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and enforce safe energization and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures on site
• Coordinate with commissioning teams, contractors, and client representatives
• Review and approve switching procedures and method statements
• Maintain strict compliance with site safety standards and energization protocols
• Monitor energization activities and ensure risk mitigation at all stages
• Lead daily briefings related to energy control and safety

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Energy Marshal (or similar role) on data centre or mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, commissioning processes, and LOTO procedures
• Experience working on hyperscale or large-scale construction/commissioning sites
• Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E preferred)
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
