4 x Contract BMS Commissioning Engineers needed (Tridium Focus) – Central London Projects - Outside IR35

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a leading building controls specialist, delivering high-profile projects across Central London (Zone 1).

 

Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial developments, you will play a key role in the commissioning, optimisation, and delivery of advanced Building Management Systems, with a strong focus on Tridium/Niagara platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Commission and deliver BMS solutions across multiple live projects

Carry out pre-commissioning, point-to-point testing, and system validation

Develop and modify BMS software, graphics, and control strategies

Diagnose and resolve system faults, ensuring optimal performance

Interpret electrical schematics, panel drawings, and MEP documentation

Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery

Produce clear commissioning documentation and support project handover

 

Key Requirements:

Proven experience commissioning BMS systems, particularly Tridium (Niagara N4)

Strong understanding of HVAC plant, controls, and building services integration

Ability to write and commission controller and network-level software

Experience working on complex, fast-paced construction projects

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and client-facing ability
