Job Title: Senior Billing Operations Manager (IoT / Multi-Carrier / Technical Billing)

Salary: $120,000 – $150,000

About the Company

Edison Smart are partnered with a rapidly growing IoT connectivity business operating in a multi-carrier, global environment.

Their platform supports SIMs across multiple mobile network operators, requiring complex billing across regions, carriers, and usage scenarios.

Due to growth, they are looking to hire a hands-on Billing Operations leader who can take ownership of the technical billing lifecycle, ensuring accurate, scalable billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multi-carrier billing operations across global IoT connectivity
• Oversee ingestion of carrier data (APIs, FTP, manual downloads)
• Ensure accurate data normalisation and transformation across carriers
• Work with or support mediation layers and rating engines
• Handle complex billing scenarios (roaming, proration, multi-zone usage)
• Troubleshoot billing discrepancies at a data and systems level
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and finance teams
• Improve automation and reduce manual billing processes

Key Requirements

• Experience in IoT, MVNO, or multi-carrier environments
• Strong understanding of multi-carrier billing (NOT single carrier only)
• Experience with usage-based billing (data, roaming, SIM lifecycle)
• Exposure to carrier file ingestion and data processing
• Understanding of mediation, rating, or billing systems
• Comfortable working with different carrier formats and billing rules
