Founding AI Engineer
Location: Munich, Germany (Onsite)

Salary: €100k - €120k + equity

Introductory Description

Join an early-stage AI startup building intelligent systems for global pharmaceutical & life science teams. This is a founding-level role with full ownership of the end-to-end AI and data stack, working directly with customers and leadership. Ideal for someone who enjoys building from first principles and shaping both product and technical direction.

Key Skills / Experience

Required:

• 3+ years’ experience building production systems in Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI pipelines, and data infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of ETL, data modelling, and system architecture.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ownership environments.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into reliable systems.

Beneficial:

• Experience with RAG architectures, agentic workflows, or evaluation frameworks.
• Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., pharma, healthcare, biotech).
• Startup experience or prior founding team exposure.
