Job Description

Job Title: Senior Product Manager – Connectivity

Location: United Arab Emirates
Function: Product Management / Network Platforms

Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager will own and manage the company’s connectivity product portfolio, including hyperscaler, global enterprise, broadband/private, and data center interconnect (DCI) solutions. This role requires a technically strong product manager capable of translating customer requirements and network capabilities into commercially viable offerings. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate closely with Network, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure operational readiness, service quality, and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Ownership

  • Manage and optimize the end-to-end connectivity product portfolio, including:

    • Hyperscaler connectivity: dedicated dark fibre, DWDM capacity, high-throughput/low-latency routes for GPU workloads.

    • Global enterprise connectivity: international access, managed transport solutions.

    • Broadband & private connectivity: last-mile/private access for critical sites.

    • Data center interconnect (DCI): intra- and inter-DC connectivity, cross-connect models.

  • Define product specifications, commercial positioning, pricing, and go-to-market plans.

  • Monitor and manage product development budgets and forecast resource requirements.

Market & Customer Insight

  • Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor offerings, and connectivity ecosystem developments.

  • Gather detailed requirements from priority customers—including latency, redundancy, SLA, bandwidth, and on-net locations—and convert them into actionable product offerings.

Commercial & Sales Enablement

  • Support Sales teams to ensure correct product delivery and positioning (e.g., DF vs DWDM for hyperscalers, DCI for campus links, managed enterprise connectivity for multinationals).

  • Ensure deals comply with approved commercial models (lease vs IRU, recurring vs upfront) and validate SKUs, pricing, and billing logic prior to contract execution.

Technical & Operational Collaboration

  • Work with Network, Engineering, Capacity Planning, and Service Assurance teams to confirm technical feasibility and delivery capability (latency, redundancy, SLA adherence, bandwidth, timelines).

  • Align product roadmap with network capacity planning and operational capabilities.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Track and analyze product performance: volumes sold, utilization, yield, and adoption by customer segment.

  • Identify underperforming products and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement in product design, delivery, and commercial performance.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in technical product management, preferably in hyperscaler, enterprise, or data center connectivity.

  • Experience with high-capacity network products and multi-terabit-scale environments.

Technical Expertise

  • Knowledge of: DWDM, DCI, IP/MPLS, Ethernet, dark fibre, peering networks, broadband/private access.

  • Understanding of hyperscaler and global enterprise connectivity architectures.

  • Hands-on experience working with Engineering and Network teams to translate requirements into operational services.
