Job Title / Position: Technical Solution Manager

Job Purpose:
As a Technical Solution Manager, you will support the Sales Team in identifying new business opportunities and helping Account Managers grow existing customer relationships. You will deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations, while gathering technical requirements from customers. You are responsible for ensuring that the technical solution delivered meets customer needs and aligns with internal standards.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Support the Sales Team in technical discussions, presentations, and demonstrations.

Assist on customer visits and virtual meetings that require deeper technical expertise.

Act as a technical pre-sales resource, driving discussions and assessments while highlighting customer benefits of proposed solutions.

Represent the company at events, exhibitions, and customer meetings alongside the Sales Team.

Provide technical input for RFx responses and proposals.

Own the technical solution for existing customers and drive solution evolution and improvements.

Capture, document, and manage solution designs and change requests for new and existing business with internal stakeholders.

Coordinate onboarding of new products and services with internal departments, ensuring smooth integration for customers.

Update CRM systems with solution verification information and relevant supporting documentation.

Serve as a bridge between Product and Sales Teams, educating both internal staff and customers on solutions and offerings.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and solutions, and support team members with coaching and guidance.

Create technical product presentations and customer solution overviews.

Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IoT, connectivity, and related areas.
Internal and External Relations:

External: Customers with national or global deployments; business travel may be required.

Internal: Sales leadership, product teams, marketing, operations, and technical offices.
Educational and Professional Qualifications / Experience:
-
Minimum of five years’ experience in IoT or telecommunications technical pre-sales, or equivalent.

Background in M2M / IoT technology, product management, or equivalent roles.

Ability to translate complex technical solutions into simple terms with a clear business value proposition.

Strong combination of technical expertise and commercial understanding, ideally with knowledge of verticals such as Security, Utilities, Asset Management, Insurance, Automotive, or Transportation.
