BMS Service Technician – Sydney

We’re looking for an experienced BMS Service Technician to join a well-established Building Automation team in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge building technologies across a variety of commercial, healthcare, education, and infrastructure projects — helping clients optimise performance, comfort, and energy efficiency.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and optimisation of Building Management Systems across key client sites. The role offers a mix of technical hands-on work, client interaction, and system improvement — ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working on diverse building environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive service, maintenance, and fault-finding on BMS and HVAC control systems.

  • Optimise system performance to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers and site teams.

  • Complete service reports, documentation, and recommendations.

  • Work closely with project and service teams to deliver upgrades and system enhancements.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.

About You:

  • Proven experience working with Building Management Systems in a service or maintenance capacity.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, control strategies, and field devices.

  • Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Schneider, Siemens, or Distech would be highly regarded.

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.

  • Relevant electrical or mechanical qualification.

  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
