Senior Account Director
Compensation: Up to 656,100 QAR + Allowances and Bonus

CEO – Large Partner Account

Doha, Qatar
Role Purpose:
Our client is seeking a Senior Account Director to identify and develop new business opportunities while building trusted, long-term relationships with a major partner account. The role is accountable for driving pipeline growth, forecasting, and achieving agreed financial targets and performance KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a clear plan to identify, pursue, and secure new business within a major partner account.
- Build credibility as a strategic advisor through consultative engagement and a deep understanding of the partner’s needs and challenges.
- Own the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Design and implement relationship strategies to strengthen connections with senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure that solutions and services are positioned proactively, maximising new business opportunities.
- Stay informed about the competitive landscape and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, including proven success working with Tier 1 telecom operators or large regional carriers.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience developing and executing stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
- Solid technical understanding of mobile network technologies and solutions.
- Ability to translate complex technical offerings into clear business benefits for customers.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing senior-level relationships independently.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Preferred Background:
- Strong network and relationships with senior leadership within major telecom groups.
- Previous experience working with leading vendors or telecom operators in the region is an advantage.
