MEP Project Manager

Salt Lake City, UT | $130,000 – $140,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle + Benefits

The Opportunity

We are currently working with a well-established MEP contractor that is continuing to grow its project portfolio across Utah and the wider region. They specialize in new commercial construction and data center projects, delivering complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems from pre-construction through completion.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced MEP Project Manager to join their team in Salt Lake City.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys working on technically challenging construction projects and wants to play a key role in delivering major commercial and mission-critical developments.

The Role

As an MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through to final completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing MEP projects from inception through completion

• Working closely with General Contractors, owners, engineers, subcontractors and vendors

• Reviewing plans, specifications, contracts and project documentation

• Managing project schedules, budgets and overall financial performance

• Coordinating mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades

• Managing procurement, materials and subcontractor relationships

• Reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation

• Attending project meetings and providing regular project updates

• Identifying and resolving project issues before they impact schedule or budget

• Working closely with field teams and superintendents to ensure successful project delivery

• Supporting commissioning, closeout and turnover activities

• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as an MEP Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, Electrical Project Manager or similar

• Experience managing commercial construction projects

• Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes

• Experience managing project budgets, schedules and subcontractors

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience working with General Contractors and project stakeholders

• Data center or mission-critical experience is highly desirable

• A strong understanding of construction safety and quality requirements
