Job Description

An industry-leading provider of electrical testing and commissioning services is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the successful delivery of commissioning projects across mission-critical, commercial, and industrial facilities.

In this leadership role, you will oversee the full commissioning lifecycle, managing a team of engineers and technicians while ensuring electrical systems are tested, validated, and handed over safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical commissioning activities from planning through project completion.
  • Manage and mentor commissioning engineers and field technicians.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee testing and validation of electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and control systems.
  • Ensure commissioning documentation, reports, and punch lists are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance throughout all commissioning activities.
  • Act as the primary client contact during the commissioning phase and drive continuous process improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 12+ years of electrical commissioning experience, including several years leading teams.
  • Strong background in electrical testing, commissioning, and power distribution systems.
  • Working knowledge of NETA ATS/MTS, NEC, NFPA 70E, and industry commissioning standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience working within mission-critical, industrial, utility, or large commercial environments.
  • NICET, CCP, or OEM field service certifications are highly desirable.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
