Senior Account Manager - Cybersecurity

The Opportunity
A leading cybersecurity solutions provider is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its growing sales team in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will manage and develop strategic relationships across UAE government, enterprise and critical infrastructure accounts. You will be responsible for growing existing customers, identifying new opportunities and closing complex cybersecurity deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise and government accounts
- Develop new business opportunities across Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE
- Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders
- Understand clients’ security challenges and recommend suitable solutions and services
- Sell solutions across SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOC services, network security, IAM, cloud security and GRC
- Create and execute account plans aligned with revenue targets
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including proposals, tenders, negotiations and contract closure
- Work closely with pre-sales, technical and delivery teams
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts
- Represent the business at customer meetings, conferences and industry events
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in cybersecurity sales, account management or business development
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Fluent Arabic and strong professional English
- Experience selling cybersecurity products, professional services or managed security services
- Strong network across UAE government, enterprise or critical infrastructure customers
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage senior decision-makers
- Strong commercial, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills
- Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regional compliance requirements
- Experience using CRM platforms and producing accurate forecasts
Desirable Experience
- Existing relationships across Abu Dhabi government, defence, MODON or critical infrastructure organisations
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi procurement and tendering platforms, including TAMM or ADPROCURE
- Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, NCA ECC and regional cybersecurity regulations
- Relevant cybersecurity or vendor certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline
